Our Children – Our Pride!

Children’s day on November 14th is celebrated in India ever year,
As parents and teachers let’s attempt to bring in the lives of our children cheer.
To make them feel protected and loved must be our sole intention,
Let’s work together and trust each other so that our children have no apprehension.
As the child on the first day takes the first hesitant step into the corridors of the school,
Let the teacher be his second parent and school must be a place rather cool!
When in the school during his work and play the child makes a small error,
Let the child be gently rectified by his teacher – his new carer.
When the parent and teacher appreciate as the child accomplishes his / her small dream,
The child is reassured and the happy face will radiate like a sun beam.
When the child is growing up it is the duty of both the parent and teacher to ensure,
That he / she confides in them and feels safe and secure.
In his middle years, school gives the child academic support and co-curricular exposure.
Give to the child character of strength so that in strain he / she can regain composure.
In the secondary years, help the child set his goals keeping in mind his ability and passion,
It is the responsibility of parent and teacher to help him out of any confusion.
In the senior secondary years, at school during the days of academic rigour and stress,
Child may fall short of his / her and other’s expectations and may make his /her life a mess.
With your experience and patience help the child at each and every step,
Work and play together with your child to add in his /her life a dash of pep.
Childhood is a precious treasure to be enjoyed and preserved forever,
And each child may bloom should be the parents’ and teachers’ combined endeavor.
Happy Children’s Day !
