Swacchta Abhiyan Drive
In alignment with Gandhi Ji’s emphasis on cleanliness, we impart the significance of hygiene to our students as a fundamental value. To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, we organize cleanliness drives, or “Swachata Abhiyan,” to actively engage our students in practicing and promoting cleanliness in their surroundings. Through these initiatives, we aim to instill in them the principles of responsibility, respect for the environment, and the importance of contributing positively to society.
Visit to Old Age Homes
Our social outreach initiative entails taking students to assist the underprivileged, elderly, and differently-abled individuals at various institutions such as old age homes and NGOs. This program aims to cultivate empathy, foster social responsibility, and develop valuable life skills among our students. Through diverse activities and guided interaction, students gain firsthand experience in understanding societal challenges and contributing positively to their communities. We believe such initiatives instill a sense of compassion and gratitude while nurturing a broader perspective on social issues.
World Environment Day
As an integral part of nature, we can’t escape its influence. Our sustainability hinges not on technology but on our environment. It’s crucial to acknowledge our exploitation and repay the debt. Akshara honours nature through creative projects, instilling environmental awareness in students, and paying tribute to environmental champions like Sundar Lal Bahuguna.
