Why Science after 10th ?
The Science stream is chosen by students who want to pursue pure and applied science professional course (like Engineering, Medical, Architecture,Design) in the future. They need to appear for entrance exams like JEE, NEET, NATA, State CET to get admission into the professional institutions which offer these courses.

Why CBSE curriculum ?
The CBSE board is known for its well-evaluated syllabus and course books by NCERT. All essential subjects and their relevant topics are incorporated in this syllabus by maintaining a proper order. Hence, students get thorough knowledge from this syllabus. Also the Board is well recognized which helps while seeking admission to under-graduate courses in the country and world wide. Also the entrance exam syllabus for most of the national entrance exams is quite similar to CBSE syllabus.

Subject choices
There are typically two main groups in Science stream from which the student can choose from based on the career path
» Mathematics Group (English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and
» Biology Group (English, Physics , Chemistry and Biology)

(Physical Education and Computer Science are offered as optional fifth subject).
