Scheme of Studies: The school offers Science and Commerce Streams at the Senior Secondary level. Students can choose any 5 subjects from the list below (combinations offered will dependent on number of students opting):

» English, Physics, Chemistry (Compulsory subjects)
» Maths/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Physical Education (Optional subjects)

» English, Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics (Compulsory subjects)
» Maths/ Physical Education (Optional subject)

Scheme of Examination: The scheme of examination is defined by CBSE as follows:
» Class XI examination will be conducted by the School
» Class XII examination will be an external examination (in Theory and Practical) conducted by the Board.

Career Guidance: The ultimate aim of Akshara Senior Secondary program is to ensure that each pupil is able to enter a career of his/ her choice at the end of the schooling years. The focus of the academic team is to develop the fundamentals in each subject so as to establish a strong foundation for competitive exams preparation. The school facilitates career planning workshops for counseling and scientific assessment of the capabilities based on which students can take career decisions.

Class Timings: The class lecture timings are as follows
» Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) (till 3:15 p.m. on practical days)
» Saturday (1st, 3rd & 5th) - (9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.)

Admissions: Students with good academic record can apply for admission before the declaration of Board results by filling up the Registration Form and following the process steps laid out in the admission guidelines.
